Snow! In April?

We're having an unexpected cold front - but no snow! We had a small tornado, I think, and we had thunderstorms.

I can vouch for that!!! Gail was reading a weather warning at the time for somewhere in Pennsylvania (I don't know why we got it)

Anybody else hit by an unexpected spring snowstorm?
Maybe this sort of thing is normal here but it's new to me and I think it's very strange. What's even stranger is my husband still hasn't taken down the Christmas tree.

I've seen significant snow here in Salt Lake City in mid-May before. I am not a winter person and I am ready for Spring!!!!

I still remember it vividly, the day I decided I was moving to Florida.

I was living in Michigan at the time. The first friday in April that year, it hit 80 degrees. It was probably only 80 for about 20 minutes or so, but it still counts. The following friday, it snowed ALL DAY!! :banghead3

All of my friends up there tell me that they could never live down here with me because they would miss the four seasons.
1.) All four seasons is wonderful, but not in the same week!
2.) We have four seasons in Florida: Hot, Damn Hot, Hurricane, and Tourist. :biglaugh:

I was actually able to get a pic of today outside of my parents home. Here is what Western Pa looked like today.

We often have snow in April, followed by two days of summer, back to winter....:biglaugh:

Mid 30's, lots of wind & rain, but no snow. Actually, the timing for us is fortuitous. By this weekend, the weather will have warmed up just enough to be perfect for our VW Show in Hot'Lanta, SouthernVolksFest.:D
