Just wait until its 40% when you hit more than one bracket, 14% sale tax, property taxes, etc. Both the Fed and Province tax income. That is what I face in Canada. That is the type of country Sander uses for a model. If he gets his way the middle class is going to see a lot of their income go into taxes to pay for all the programs he wants. Canada taxes the rich as well. It does not cover the costs of those social programs

I've literally read nothing to that effect. Do you have sources for it? Because I've been following his stances pretty closely since last election, and while income tax might increase there's been no mention of sales tax increases, and quite a bit of emphasis on a rehaul to medical doing away with copay and premiums.

Also right now, at this moment, my sales tax is 9.3%.
