I'm sad to say that I just found out the friend of my family's that I had told you all about and asked to pray for, Sharon, passed away yesterday. I thank you for all the thoughts and prayers you offered on my previous thread about her.

Thank you guys. I talked to her son today and it seems he's in shock. He and his mother were so close, best friends. He's taking it pretty hard. Everyone's pretty much just holding on, ya know?

Yes, I know as best I can. While there wasn't such mourning with my Father's passing, I lost a cousin and a cousin's son here while back, and that certainly did send shocks.

You and the family will remain in my prayers. May God heal the damage through our prayers and the prayers of the Theotokos.

She was just an awesome woman Robtex. When I first started college, my school was 2 hours away by bus and I didn't drive. Without even asking, Sharon went out of her way to drive me to and from school so I wouldn't have to take the bus. She would make herself late for work every morning and leave early every night to bring me home when school was over.

To be honest, she was the woman who put my faith back in Christians. I was always cynical towards Christians before I met her because I was always being bombarded by those fanatical Christians, condemning me to hell and constantly trying to convert me and whatnot. Sharon was always so loving and accepting of me and my path. She showed me what true Christians were really all about.

*big hug* I'll light a candle for you tonight. It's those who such an amazing person leaves behind who have it worst.
