I know how the Original Sin had come about. But why the children of Adam and Eve are carrying the burden of the sin the haven't committed? In the Old Testament Yahweh says that He will punish the later 14 generations of the human being who takes as God anyone or anything else beside Him. But what fault did the latter generations do? Jesus Christ came to fulfill Moses' religion but the New Testament has different worshipping rituals, festivals and no circumcision. But why? Thank you.
Yes, Adam's offspring do bear the burden of sin. Romans 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned." God could have destroyed Adam and Eve before they had any children, but chose to allow their children to have the opportunity to live forever, a gift that Adam squandered by sinning. (Romans 6:23) Romans 8:20,21 explains:"For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but through the one who subjected it, on the basis of hope that the creation itself will also be set free from enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the children of God."
Thus, I believe God's allowing us to live is an expression of his love and concern, as well as a demonstration of his perfect justice and wisdom. For example, children born with a terrible disease may need to undergo painful treatments to cure them. Their loving parents may grieve to see their children suffer temporarily , but realize the outcome will be good, and so allow the painful treatments to be given. I believe sin is like a grave disease we are all born with, and the suffering it brings is unavoidable at present. But God will soon bring this suffering to a permanent end, according to his promise. (Revelation 21:3,4)
