It is a Martin Luther Bible but dammit it is probably in early high German (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language) and I tried to run it through this translator (http://www.worldlingo.com/wl/translate) and i didn't take. I took a mini-course in early high german in college as part of a senior level german class but i did miserably at it. It was so different from the lang spoken today. I tried to find an old high german translator but I only found one that went word by word. That is more effort than I am willing to dish out. I can't read a darn thing on the inside cover page
