Soo... Hi there :)

Yeah, I am new here.
My name is Marijan, Croat born, Christian raised, altar boy for a few years :)
Also, a naval architect by collage degree(any job offers? :angel2:), biology lover, Darwin fan :)
I came here primarily to learn about various religions, as it proved to be difficult to find literature on the matter. So if anyone has a link to any literature I would be extremely thankful. In the meantime I'll be browsing the forum for threads.
Best of luck to you all. ;)

The word religion is based most on bible study based on an intellectual level.

We can learn more about beliefs in the higher, through our conscience.
Through self understanding in other words. Not religion.
Our conscience leads us to repentance of our sins including resentment and hate.
We must be honest with ourselves in order to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit that is the giver of insights and revelations.
We cannot get that by filling our minds with verse and chapter, because all it does is create a mind that is never still long enough to hear the small voice of God.

That is why I call myself an unintellectual.

I like what you said, and I certenly agree with: "We must be honest with ourselves in order to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit that is the giver of insights and revelations."... But with that said, I am honestly curious by nature. :)

Thank you all for your kind words,
To whom it may concern, I did find a lot of literature, and I generally like this forum(after the first day)... A lot of ideas and questions are floating around. I'm looking forward to reading them :)
