Spanish addopt the 'Gays to be married' law

Although I can't find a reference to it on line, I just heard on the radio that the Spanish have gone ahead with the 'Gays to be married' proposals - I must admit I feel sorry for the Pope ; he tried so hard to try to stop the Spanish fromtaking this course.

So hopefully, as long as Spain doesn't pass a law next year that allows people to marry their pets, kitchen appliances, and garden gnomes, then hopefully the US will be able to step out of the dark ages and offer gays equal civil rights.
