This is the claim of the slave class of the witnesses,
*** w88 1/15 p. 22 Were You Once Associated With Jehovah’s Organization? ***
It is good to remember that Jehovah has always worked through one organization only. In our day, “the faithful and discreet slave” is dispensing spiritual food “at the proper time.” Note that this slave was to be ‘found doing so when the Master arrived.’ (Matthew 24:45-47) Really, who today realizes that the Master has already arrived? And who is busy with the work indicated? Only those associated with Jehovah’s organization of Christian witnesses!
Does it take a special kind of person to comprehend this "spiritual food"?
In the June 15, 1979 Watchtower, it was "stated" (TAUGHT as truth from Jehovah Himself) that Jesus' "official" presence began with His "second coming" in autumn of 1914
*** w79 6/15 pp. 22-23 par. 4 “The Dead in Christ Shall Rise First” ***
4 By his sacrificial death Jesus Christ bought back or redeemed all the human family who are dying “in Adam.” Hence, they all “belong to the Christ.” However, the resurrecting of even the first ones of the human dead must wait till after the “presence,” or parousia, of Jesus Christ begins. This official presence begins with his second coming. According to the “sign” that Jesus foretold and also according to certain Bible time measurements, his invisible “presence,” or parousia, began in autumn of 1914 C.E.—Matt. 24:3. (emphasis mine)
But, in 2013 they "state" (TAUGHT as truth from Jehovah Himself), His arrival, that was "thought" to be in 1918,
*** w13 7/15 p. 8 par. 17 “Tell Us, When Will These Things Be?” ***
17 In the past, we have "stated" in our publications that these last four references apply to Jesus’ arriving, or coming, in 1918. (emphasis mine)
did not happen in 1919, it is now a future event. (This is in the same article as the above quote)
*** w13 7/15 p. 8 par. 19 “Tell Us, When Will These Things Be?” ***
Finally, we examined why Jesus’ arrival to appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings did not occur in 1919 but will take place during the great tribulation. (emphasis mine)
And, exactly one year later, in the July 15, 2014 Watchtower, we see that we are still living in the time of His presence, which began in 1914, with His second coming (see the quote from 1979 above), and "that" is clear for "ALL" to see.
*** w14 7/15 p. 31 par. 10 “You Will Be Witnesses of Me” ***
Ever since that marked year of 1914, “the sign of [Christ’s] presence” as earth’s new King has become clear for all to see. (Matt. 24:3, 7, 14; Luke 21:24) (emphasis mine)
Does anyone comprehend this, or is it just me that doesn't?
