Split second

Let’s say the world was created in a nano second. Assuming this is true, what would be the reason, in your opinion, to the mountain of evidence that points to our solar system forming over great time?

Maybe it took a nano second to design it; and a great deal of time to develop it.

I have no idea... The concept doesn't make much logical sense to me. To make it make logical sense requires mental gymnastics and incorporating extra beliefs to fill in the gaps. Seems like a lot of baggage to haul around.

Either the universe was always there or it was created in an instant (much shorter than a nano second). It only took 13.7 billion years to settle to the point where it is now.

We're in the Matrix or something?

I think the point is, Christians believe the solar system was magically spoken into existence, in an instant, by the word of God.
All actual observed and empirical evidence points to a gradual evolution.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Why would something created in an instant require long term maintenance?

The whole universe was spoken into existence and then the material of the universe was used to make and create other things and after each thing was made and created there was a period of time for it to change/evolve to what we have today.
All evidence points to it all coming into existence in an instant and then gradually different things being formed from the material of the universe and changing/evolving into what we have today.
