whatta ya doing for st pat's day?

I am going to see some live music (austin=live music capital of the world) at a bookstore called the monkeywrench. It is an alternative news bookstore in North Austin

Oh and south x southwest is happening this week in austin. One of my co-workers ran into Billy Bob Thorton at Stubbs in dowtown Austin catching the live band action this week.

I'm not going to be able to touch even an ounce of alcohol all day. :(

Oh well, I will get my revenge!

Plus, next year, St. Paddy's day is on a Friday! Yeah, baby!

Well, I wore my green all day, cooked a corned beef brisket (for those who here who eat meat), with a big pot of cabbage, carrots and potatoes and had some non-alcoholic beer. Oh, and I watched "The History of Ireland" on the History Channel. :)

I'm only very tenuously related to the Irish; I had a lovely afternoon, knee deep in hundreds(felt like it) of cables, trying to connect TV to Cable box, to Video, to hi-fi. Didn't do my essays at being more patient any good at all.!!!!!:banghead3

Plan on leaving soon to go to an Irish 'pub' nearby with my roommate---possibly some others. They're having a big St. Patrick's Day bash there, with lots of traditional Irish food, and live Irish music. :D

I taught an awesome meditation class!!!!!! The 2 and a hald hours felt like 15 minutes!!!!! I wish I didn't teach only once a week. I wish I could do it everyday!!! Needless to say, this was my favorite St. Paddy's day ever!!!!! :D :biglaugh: < look they're green!!!!

I didn't get to bed until late this morning. I was on RF :p until 6:30 am I believe.

Woke up around 12:30 in the afternoon, got on RF for a little bit, watched carrdero play video games, took a nap and when I woke up, went food shopping. Then I came home, with already cooked dinner, (chinese food mmmmm

) watched some TV, baked a cake, doing some laundry and back on RF. I had a great day. I take off from work every Patrick's Day.
