Star Wars: which character in star wars represents you and why?

Chewbacca.

We're both good with tools, we're both tall and gangly (though I'm getting less gangly about the middle lately), and for both of us, our preferred outfit is a bandolier... and nothing else. ;)

Ang,

You like characters who rush to death? Damn bro I am worried about you....:)

I wasn't talking about me. I chose a character who makes it through the movies and through all the books (that I know of). Luke is a strong character in the saga.

Leia I guess.

It could be Queen Amidala, but she fell in love with an emo guy who turned into Vader, so she's off the list.

Because Qui-Gon understood that doing the right thing isn't always about following rigid dogmas. He was a Jedi who dared to be different, and he died believing in that.

He dared to be different at the expense of losing focus on his Jedi badassery. Instead, he got cut in half by a novice, despite being Liam Nielson.

He wasn't a master, either. Obi Wan went and kicked his booty - his master should have been able to do the same with ease.
Well, he fought both of them at the same time and still held his ground.

I'd assume being a master has more to do with wisdom than pure fighting ability (although they all have quite a bit of that too). Darth Maul just had fighting ability, and apparently on the level of a master.

That's true. I forgot about that.
