What in the blazes are they doing at a chain like star$#@%s when they should be supporting their locally-owned and independent coffee shops?! o_O

While their reasons for boycotting are rather ridiculous, I definitely don't oppose the idea of boycotting star$#@%s on the whole.

Apparently some Christians have complained because Starbucks won't print Xmas cups this year. I'm guessing that wouldn't bother anyone with half a brain, except that Donald Trump decided to comment on the subject and invite people to boycott Starbucks so this nonsense escalated.

Seriously, who cares about what's printed on the coffee cups???
Obviously Trump, which goes a long way in illustrating his sense of proportion. As if America deserves a president who gets upset over how a private company panders to its customers.

Agreed. I've never been to one. I have gotten their drinks at the store though and they're okay. Nothing too impressive.

Haven't they always had these cups?

I find Trump's commentary to be reasonable.....
"I have one of the most successful Starbucks, in Trump Tower. Maybe we should boycott Starbucks? I don't know. Seriously, I don't care. That's the end of that lease, but who cares?" Trump told a crowd in Springfield, Illinois, on Monday. "If I become president, we're all going to be saying Merry Christmas again, that I can tell you. That I can tell you."
His lack of caring is exemplary.

As a local business owner, I agree:)

They don't serve Zlatna Dzezva! at least around here anyway, they could though and it is almost as good brewed in an espresso machine as slow cooked in a pot.

Most out of place...."one of these things doesn't look like the others" thing I ever saw...was a Starbucks...... at Badaling China, at the Great Wall...

I don't go to Starbucks much anyways...all their coffee tastes burnt because I think all they use for EVERYTHING is espresso roast... that and they killed the very best local coffee shop I ever had the luck to go to...by moving in across the street

I went to a Starbucks once. Seen the prices and did what your Cartmen cartoon is doing....And I went to dunkin doughnuts.:D

Lmao you mean Cartman?

DD has better coffee. I have some here at home and they have cool flavors. Don't need sugar with it either (though I do lol).

I don't know. I haven't been to one in ages. It used to be there was only one of them in town. We have a ton of amazing locally-owned coffee shops. Now there are more Star$#@%s. I get worried about the local places going under, especially the one shop that carries excellent looseleaf tea that passes muster for even the most snobbish tea lover.

Star$#@%s took over Teavana too. I sometimes still go there, but they've become a lot more... I don't know... gimmicky since the takeover. Less of a proper tea snob place and more of a "I'm trying to be hip and cool with fancy blend names" place.

Yay, you're officially more awesome than you were already! :D
