In my experience it usually involves a lot more vodka and shame.
I know exactly what you mean! I too feel ashamed to pay $16 for a shot of vodka at the strip club. Whew! I thought I was alone.

We were taught about safe sex at age 14, but I would look at myself and go How the hell is this supposed to work?
Actually I have seen a lot of women who will make generalisations about men being sex obsessed, sexist and womanizers. They claim to be feminist but in reality they come across as man haters.

I wasn't making a case for man vs woman, I was making a case for one is systematic and one isn't, how does it really effect a mans life that some individual women thinks he is a jerk really?

When men are victimised by sexist women, they may be in a statistical minority, but does that mean that the principle is irrelevant ? Does that mean that the behavior is not the same ?

I'm saying it's just distracting from the real issues of sexism, "oh but women can be sexist too" great, a couple of women sitting round a tea pot talking about what jerks men can be is not something I'm going to loose sleep over or even feel sorry for men about.
To summarize: people of either sex may be jerks, either when talking about their own sex or someone else's.
But because of a historic disparity in power between the sexes, there is a difference in impact between jerkiness one way and the other. It shouldn't be this way, but unless you can change history, you ain't going to change it.
A minority of people of one sex being a jerk to people of the other does not excuse reciprocation, but does make that reciprocation easier to understand.
You could probably replace the word "sex" with "race", "religion", "culture" or any other kind of human grouping. Unless we introduce the death penalty for being a jerk (which IMO would be jerkiness of the highest order, so warranting the death penalty for anyone who successfully managed it), there are always going to be jerks out there. The trick is not to let 'em get to you.

I watch porn. I have no problem watching porn. I have seen porn I would rather erase from my memory, either because it's just bad acting or something that made me go, "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
But for the most part, porn is okay. 99.9999999% of the participants are more than willing. I have run into one that I reported. It looked to real to be fantasy rape, and I wasn't the only one. But for the most part, it's fun . I don't feel degraded nor to I see the women in the flicks as degraded either.
