Ya know what I find odd? All the millions of religious people in the world have beliefs according to a book. Hardly none of them have their own ideas about how we got here and where we’re going.
For most people an idea would be new unless they have read all the ideas written, which I doubtLife is hard. Spiritual thought requires time and effort, and having kids, working a job, and paying bills usually takes priority. Everything under the sun has also already been explored philosophically for the most part, so there's really no new ground to cover that hasn't also already been covered
That said, I have devoted quite a lot of thought to religious ideas and philosophy myself. I learned a lot of useful things, too. I wouldn't recommend it for most folks, though. People who've experienced religious trauma can definitely benefit from exploring other spiritual philosophies imo
