Awhile back, I started a thread/poll asking if there was enough interest in starting a sub-forum for the Green party, which there wasn't. But Draka suggested there may be enough interest in a third party sub-forum. So I'll start the poll here: do you support third parties, and have interest in seeing a third party sub-forum?

To be realistic guys, the Admins here are under orders from the Forum owner not to set up sub-forums unless there is significant interest in one. He hates to see forums with little or no activity. So, get out and drum up the vote, if you want this.

That's why I started this thread, to see how much support there would be for one.

Seems to me there is a forum entitled "The Political World" that breaks down into sub-forums based on the various political philosophies. Now I admit that it does not include a party totally focused on the environment (Green Party?). But I am sure that the "Liberal" sub-forum would accept those of you that support a party based on strictly environmental issues .

I suppose their is no reason why we could not keep it to the main forum or a sub, or even a same faith debate area,

As one who technically identifies with a third party (Green), I voted "yes".

I mean, for God's sake, there is an Amish DIR (at least there used to be one; I'm not sure of it's still around). I think a third party DIR has more purpose and would certainly generate more activity.

My voting history is consistently third-party in orientation. The two-party system is exceedingly limited. I approve of a third-parties sub-forum.

I am definitely interested in such a thing. I typically vote Republican but I frankly don't identify as Republican. I personally identify myself as more of an Independent voter than a Republican. The reason is because I do not vote based on political party. Rather, I vote based upon the individual views and such of each political candidate.
