I'm sure that there's a flaw in the way that I'm thinking and I'm hoping that someone can point it out to me. Lately I've had this line of thinking:
Man is created in God's image.
Man is flawed.
Therefore, doesn't it stand to reason that God is supremely flawed?
Peace be on you.
God made human at His image means:
God gave human raw faculties, human has to work at them with Divine teaching and have to raise to level of wise human then to morality then to Godly person.
Please read Holy Quran:
chapter 2 : v139 note 145

[ch84:v7] Thou, O man, art verily labouring towards thy Lord, a hard labouring; then thou art going to meet Him.
[ch18:v111] Say, ‘I am only a man like yourselves;
but I have received the revelation that your God is only One God. So let him who hopes to meet his Lord do good deeds, and let him join no one in the worship of his Lord.’
Every one is not flawed:
[95:5] Surely, We have created man in the best make;
[95:6] Then,
if he works iniquity, We reject him as the lowest of the low,
[95:7] Except those who believe and do good works; so for them is an unending reward.
Despite world's bad state in various fields, still goodness is present, reforms are being carried out. There are good people in various religions who thinks and strive for positive.....Ahmadiyya-Muslim Khalifah and Community struggle for that world peace, for example.
