By the way...my respect towards other people's free will (not everyone respects other people's free will on Earth, but I do) imposes me to respect Satanists and their choice.

But I feel nothing but contempt towards those people, especially politicians who are Satanists and hide it.

Why would you want an act that outraged the world when ISIS did it?

Well, as a student of ancient history, I do lament the destruction of ancient artifacts/sites by ISIS.

However, I see no equivalence here. Those sites are the historical remnants of ancient societies.

But a shrine or whatever to Satan in my local courthouse (my taxes at work)? Nope

Then why not déclare the state as secular and not allow any kind of religious display in courthouses at all then ?
Why would an atheist's taxes fund a shrine to Jesus in their local courthouse ? It's the same logic

So this way it is fair to everyone equally

Fair in the sense that law was applied as written.

That said, the Satanic temple is an organization which basically serves to provoke criticism of the Religious protections, rather than genuine Religious practice. For that reason I think characterizing this a 'hate crime' in the same way that someone who defaced a Mosque or Synagogue would be untrue.

It's because Christians want their displays.
So the venue must be open to all.

And yet you want mythical displays to be allowed. By the way, the displays of neither are on the government dime. All that is offered for them are spaces and not everyone is Christian. Not everyone is a member of the Satanic Temple either. You are being inconsistent in your reasoning.

FYI, I'm a temple member. :kissingheart:

But anyway, which of their tenets in particular did you disagree with?

And what politicians do you suspect are secret Satanists?
