I wonder if the family member that thinks the customer that shot the suspect should have just considered it none of his business and just left the store when seeing the suspect holding a gun to someone's head would feel the same way if she were the one on her knees with a gun held to her head.

Absolutely! It's almost a mandatory reaction within black communities.
