Video here: Sweden PM catches himself after appearing to almost suggest Israel has 'right to genocide'

"Sweden's prime minister has faced ridicule after appearing to just stop himself saying "Israel has the right to genocide" during a speech.
Ulf Kristersson was speaking to an audience in Gothenburg on Tuesday when he addressed the subject of Sweden's attitude to the war in Gaza.
"Sweden and the EU stand united in that Israel has a right to geno...self-defence," he said.
A number of audience members laughed at his mistake, while others started calling out "Has Israel the right to commit genocide?"

Any Swedish speakers on RF who can attest to the accuracy of the subtitling? Not seeing much about this in the Western English press.

While it appears to just be a slip of the tongue,
"Israel's right to self defense" is often exclaimed
as justification for war crimes.
Does it mean anything? It depends if he also
addresses Israel's apartheid & war crimes as wrong.

I wasn't able to post in 'Political world' so this seemed like the most relevant place while not a debate exactly.
Curious.

My problem with the link (and its headline) is that it could be read as insinuating that what might very well have been a simple slip of the tongue was in reality a sinister Freudian slip. If so, it's little more than a cheap smear.
