The West insist that should Bashar Assad step down but Russia is support Assad to stay....
,so It's just come to my mind, let's suppose that Assad is step down or being assassinat , does that make Syria and world in peace ? actuatly I don't think so , Syria would be hell of the world if Syrian Army defeated by rebels. do you agree ?


Do you think Syria will be in peace without Assad regime ? what you prefer to support the rebels or Syrian Army ? or stop involve in?

For my opinion I saw what happened when rebels in Iraq and Libya took control, so I think West should stop rebels and start supporting Syrian regime , despite the politic disagreement .

I don't know much about the rebels, but I definitely wouldn't want to live under a government that kills its citizens en masse as Assad has been reported to do.
That doesn't necessarily mean the rebels are a better choice either.
I would like to say that the best is probably to let things happen on their own with the West removing its nose from it. The thing is, with all the refugees coming out of therethat have are now Europe's problem, I feel like they have a vested interest in ensuring a stable, safe government is established.

I doubt Assad is particularly decisive in and of himself. The question is what options are realistically available to avoid further tragedy.

That includes ceasing to import fossil fuels from anywhere and propping up ugly dictatorships like the Saud family and the other governments in the gulf region.

I think the President has gone too far. But if it's a choice between him and the current alternatives, I'd rather he remained in power myself.

I really don't know. I think its as bad as having to c hoose between Trump and Clinton. I'd rather throw them all out and get a good option.

I think the game is between (indirect war) Russia and USA and victimes are poor Syrians. agreed ?

I definitely think that the US and Russia are taking advantage of what was going on in Syria for their own purposes. But I don't think that takes the blame off Assad and the rebels for giving the US and Russia the opportunity to do so.
The Syrian civilians are definitely the losers out of this mess. No question about that.
