Ta'la al Badru 'Alayna

Tala‘ al-Badru ‘Alaynā (Arabic: طلع البدر علينا) is a traditional Islamic song (Nasheed) that the Ansar sung to the Prophet Muhammad upon his arrival at Yathrib after completing the Hijra[1][2] in 622 CE.[3] The song is currently over 1400 years old, and one of the oldest in the Islamic culture.

Lyrics

طلع البدر علينا
Tala‘ al-badru ‘alaynā
Oh the white moon rose over us

من ثنيات الوداع
Min thanīyātil-wadā‘
From the valley of al-Wadā‘.

وجب الشكر علينا
Wajab al-shukru ‘alaynā
And we owe it to show gratefulness

ما دعى لله داع
Mā da‘á lillāhi dā‘
Where the call is to Allah.

أيها المبعوث فينا
Ayyuhal mab‘ūthu fīnā
Oh you who were raised among us

جئت بالأمر المطاع
Ji’ta bil-amri al-muṭā‘>
Coming with a word to be obeyed

جئت شرفت المدينة
Ji’ta sharaft al-madīnah
You have brought to this city nobleness

مرحبا يا خير داع
Marḥaban yā khayra dā‘
Welcome best caller to God's way

Al-Aqsa Is In My Heart.
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is the mercy which was sent to guide us from the darkness to the light of Islam....To guide us from worshipping people, to worship the creator of people. When I read his Sira (biography), I feel that I want to be one of those Shabyiat who defended him in Uhud, I want to be like Um Salama.... We love him so much, but what have we done to prove that we love him? What exactly? He suffered so much for us...He missed us even before we were born...
When the Prophet visited Al Bakki’ (a burial-ground in Madienah next to the Prophet’s mosque) before his death, he told his companions:” I wish I could see my brothers.” They replied:”Aren’t we your brothers?” The Prophet said:”No, you are my companions, my brothers are those who didn’t see me and yet follow me and believe in me. I’ll wait for them on Al Hawdh (the Place where the Prophet is going to give all survivors a handful water from his noble hands that will make them never feel thirsty again after this hard day-the Judgment Day- and this will be directly before interring Paradise).
How many times have we cried for missing him? How many times we thought of reading his biography? how many times we decided to defend him?
Do we love him more than our parents, more than our wealth, and more than ourselves?! What should we do to prove our love? I'm not asking anyone to be like Um Salama (RA) who was injuered while defending the prophet Peace be upon him....But there are things less than this we can do to express our love to him, What about adherence of his Sunnah? What about memorizing a collection of his hadeeths.......... You know that we try to express our love to people whom we love in different ways, even if we were going to do something which would harm us, but we keep doing it...In the case of our love to the prophet it is totally different, whatever we are going to will not harm, and will never be against our interesets, that thing makes you feel that he is the one who loves you so much...And this is correct......Although he is the one that Allah promised him with [68:3] And verily, for you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) will be an endless reward.
And praised him in many occasions:
[68:4] And verily, you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) are on an exalted standard of character.
Whatever he asks us to do or not to do is in our favor, and because of his love and mercy towards us! ” Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad ) from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad ) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allah, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he is) full of pity, kind, and merciful."
(At Tauba:128)

Peace and Blessings be Upon Him.....

Our love to our prophet PBUH is the way which will lead us to know and love Allah SWT...........

Sorry Maro for that incoherent post, but I feel that there are many things I want to say about him to those who are talking about him badly, they are doing that because they don't him ya Mayada, they don't him, and they don't want to understand how much we love him........

Very true...i have just finished a debate with someone who wanted to convince me that my religion is bad !! and guess what ?...the man has never read a respectable book about Islam...his only source of learning is the christian and the so called apostate anti islam propaganda sites !!!
He kept copying and pasting one lie after the other...but i told him that i can only handle one lie at a time :D

I pity those people ya mena...i used to get angry at them....but i realized that many of them do actually believe in those propaganda....they just need to learn .

Peace be upon our teacher and Prophet!

Wallahi I wish I were in his time too, just serving him and being close to him.

Shame on us :(

Allah is witness that I love him so much. His love fills my heart. But true...what have I done to prove my love for him?! :(
May Allah forgive me!

I believe you mean Nusaiba (um `Umara), the brave woman masha'Allah who defended him during the battle of Uhud.

Thank you very much sister Ahlam for correcting it....I was just reading about Uhud three days ago, so how I mistaken her name? :(
