Tara Reade who accuses Biden of sexual assault now fears for her life.

I think the American society hates the heterosexual WASP who brags about being heterosexual, and wants to punish him.
I think Americans know more about America than you do. Stop waisting people's time with imaginary absurdities.

In that recording he says he loves women's genitalia.
Groping women without their consent is sexual assault.
So? That's what straight men do. Do you know any straight males who dislike female genitalia, by chance?
Of course strait men love and desire the female form, but they can do so without being disrespectful or predatory.

...or maybe he said that to brag about his virility...with his pal.
and actually it's women who chase him.

Long term allegations involving wealthy famous people are certainly a trend these days.

I sometimes wonder if it involved a person who is not famous, rich, and powerful, if it would have even been a thing worth bothering over.
Yes, it is always a thing "worth bothering over." No matter who did it.

We have reached the point where I am entitled to say I slept with Leonardo Di Caprio many, many years ago, and people are asked to believe me on trust, even if I bring zero evidence.
No we're not. Bring him to court and make your case. Like E. Jean Carroll actually did.

Unfortunately...in the US women are free to falsely accuse someone of rape, and after they are exposed, nothing will be done to them.
Poor American men.
Can you demonstrate that this is actually a huge problem we need to be dealing with or just something you've overinflated in your head?
I mean, is this more of a problem than actual sexual assaults/rapes?

It happened to me that my first time with a man was a bit unsettling and...painful.
But he was my boyfriend and I was deeply in love with him.
And I didn't express my consent explicitly because I didn't know what to do...because it was my first time.

The fact that another woman could have sued that man...in the US, shows that the American judicial system is flawed.
I am sorry.
Because it basically tells women: if you enjoyed the sexual act, it's not rape.
If you didn't enjoy it, it's rape.

That is, you can withdraw your consent, after the sexual act.
That one hit me for six too.
How can a woman give consent, and withdraw that consent during or after the act?
That's like someone agreeing to a boxing match, and withdrawing his agreement as he's being beaten up. Or declaring he didn't agree, after he got beaten, so he is allowed to retain his title.
Or a Chess match... Or a 100 meter sprint.... Oh wait. I didn't agree to race, so I didn't get beaten. Let's squash this one.

Like I said in 2020: Who are you voting for? The one with more dementia and less rape, or the one with more rape but less dementia?

(this was 3 years ago)
I don't know if Joe has "less" rape under his belt, what with his creepy behavior around young children and what his daughter said in her journal about those bizarre showers she would have with Joe. Also, the fact that he has two kids who ended up drug addicted, alcoholic sex addicts who are broken wrecks of human beings. Those kind of issues usually mean something bad happened in childhood.

Why can't someone withdraw consent during the act? Of course they can.
I gave a scenario earlier in the thread that nobody responded to ...

Let's say you're going at it with your partner, and it starts hurting for some reason and tell the partner you don't want to have sex anymore and let's please stop. I would say in such a situation your partner should stop, since you have withdrawn consent. Do you agree?
