I've never had real chai outside of trips to India. The water buffalo milk is a must. One of the best I ever had was when I was young and foolish in 1974 when I had a cup from a street chaiwalla for 10 paisa.I like a nice spiced up chai.
Agreed. I favour a blend of Darjeeling and Assam, to which I often add a tiny pinch pf Lapsang Souchong, because I like a touch of smokiness. But when travelling, PG tips will do fine.Yes, best drink ... must be loose tea though. Not Tea Bags
