Monk Of Reason

What is "alive" and what is "organic" are currently considered two different things. To be 'alive" it must meet certain criteria. So organic chemistry is not "life" and neither are viruses even though they are so obviously "living".So you wouldn't know something 'alive' as compared to a chemical reaction.....otherwise.
(it's the sequence that counts)
What are "you"? You are a collection of organs at the next basic component. Are "organs" life? If you say yes then what about the tissue that make up those organs? IF yes then what about the cells that make up your organs? If yes then what about the organelles that make up the cell? If yes then what about nothing but DNA? If yes then what about just the basic chemical compounds? Are the basic chemical compounds life? No they are not. So at the base building blocks "You" are not alive. But the systematic way that they perform chemical functions accumulate into what we call "life".
