Hi, all!

The Articles forum is now functional again:

In that forum, members can write articles about any topic of their choice and submit it for staff approval. An article can also be about a member's own personal journey or experiences.

The Articles forum is not a debate forum, so article threads, once approved by the staff, are open to discussion but not debate.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions or suggestions. If they specifically relate to moderation, please post them in the Site Feedback forum.

Your articles lack specificity, I prefer "der, die, das".
I prefer the flexibility of "the" over the
needless complexity of applying gender
to gears, sausages, & pens.
We might even move in the direction of
Chinese, eg, "ta" = both "he" & "she".

WHat exactly constitutes debate and what is an example of something I can say instead of that?

Debate would mainly be posting in someone else's article to argue against their claims, challenge their experiences in order to debate said experiences in the article thread, etc.

Why not say if you disagree just don't post?

Disagreement doesn't always result in debate; it can merely be part of discussion if it is worded in a highly non-confrontational and cordial manner.

Context matters, which is why I didn't say, "Don't post if you disagree."
