The Autistic and Intuitive Pattern Seekers
- The need for modern science and philosophy to worship and support the sensitive "autistic" persons in our societies in order to see things differently and develop new genius ideas.
------------------
Editors abstract:
“Psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen argues that our ability to identify patterns, particularly if-and-then patterns, allows humans to be the only animals on the planet with the ability to invent things.
- From the first musical instrument to the digital revolutions, what is the unique ability that has driven human progress for 70,000 years? In this talk, psychologist and world renowned autism expert Simon Baron-Cohen puts forward a bold new theory.
By linking one of our greatest human strengths with a condition that is so often misunderstood, Simon challenges us to think differently about those who think differently”.
Video: A New Theory of Human Invention - with Simon Baron-Cohen
My comment:
This autistic theory is only new to modern science, but it has been around as long as humans have been around where humans experienced everything very intuitively.
Even animals have long time ago developed the skill of acting via “intuitive/autistic pattern recognition”. Just take chimps who beats humans in recognizing numbers and patterns on a PC screen for a couple of seconds and try to repeat the numbers in the correct number order. Modern humans loses every time.
When watching this video, I all of a sudden realized, that I concur to the term of being significantly intuitive autistic in my way of perceiving and understanding everything – and that there are many debaters in the RF and otherwhere, who aren´t especially intuitive autistic in their pattern recognition and their replies.
In the video sense, I´m fact multi-autistic-intuitive And I hope to find more of us in the RF future
