The bible and the universe

Would you mind offering your attempt at explaining how the bible is like the structure of the universe and maybe specifically our solar system.

Example, "the center of our solar system is the sun" & "the center of the bible is Christ".

Could it be in God's plan, what we see and experience is not arbitrary, but meant as sign posts all around us, ultimately to point people to Christ?

I would go with the Bible points us to truths unseen. To open yourself to the possibilities and dive deeper to understand it will bring about revelation of the things around you.

In relation to the universe, it points science to truths unseen. They open themselves to the possibilities and dive deeper to understand it will bring about revelation of the things around you.

So to you, is that just a coincidence?

One interesting point to ponder, consider the idea which has gained ground that "everything is reletive" or "we cannot know truth".

As we look around the universe we see an extreme order to everything, we see laws in nature from gravity to entropy etc. We act as if everything is reletive, yet everything we can observe about this existence shows us that we live in a complex world and that it is governed by very clearly placed laws- therefore one MUST also assume that the Creator of all this is a God of "order"- just based on observation.
This idea of reletivity certainly wouldnt work when building a skyscraper!
In fact this lie only exists in our minds, not in anything we see in our current physical world, and not in the age to come either.

The Bible is the Deposit of Sacred Literature deemed relevant to the Christian Faith.

It is not an object to be used for divination, or scientific explanations. It has no special powers.
It contains some early myths describing the creation of the universe.

The Bible and the Universe have no special relationship to one another.
I would not expect an alien from another Galaxy to subscribe in any way to our Bible; any more than I would expect us to subscribe to their holy books. However I might expect them to have an understanding of God.

Numinous, please, not a Philosopher! I am disappointed to have studied for my major in Philosophy. Where did you get the idea that the center of the Bible is Christ? The center of every Literature of any people is the people whom the Literature is about. In the case of the Bible, the Jewish People. Does it make sense now? At least, tell me you agree with me, so that I should return the credits you deserve as a Philosopher.
