`The Biden administration is priming the press ...

It’s definitely a bad look, especially given recent events, but I suspect this is a fairly common practice regardless of candidate.

When I took a journalism course we talked about this. It's not an uncommon practice to be given the questions ahead of time. Not for every interview of course, but quite a few. Especially when talking to the government. I had to do a few interviews for a magazine piece I was working on about jet noise over Whidbey island naval air station. They wanted the questions ahead of time.

More gaffs from Biden today:

President Biden told a room full of supporters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Sunday that Philadelphia always got him “across the line” when he was running for the U.S. Senate. However, Biden was a U.S. Senatorfrom Delaware, not from Pennsylvania.

“Even when I was running for Senate, each time I ran – quite frankly, not a joke – Philadelphia, in particularly, got me across the line,” Biden said, eliciting applause from the audience. “No, I’m not joking.”

Not appearing to catch his mistake, Biden plowed ahead.

“No, I mean it, seriously. Organizationally and in terms of fundraising, the whole deal,” Biden said.

Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but moved to Delaware with his family when he was 10 years old.”
Oh no, good thing it didn't result in a nuclear war.

Some know that I race bikes, and I've been watching the Tour de France this past week that offers full coverage of the entire stages that last hours. The USA coverage has featured an English commentator named Phil Ligget. He is 80 this year. The last few years there's been a lot of calls for him to retire and that's because he has mixed up names and makes mistakes about certain things. It's all minor, and he works with American Bob Roll who is 64. Bob tends to correct him. It used to be annoying, but Ligget has been covering the Tour and other races for over 50 years. His knowledge is extensive and his memory is excellect. Despite the occassional miistake his commentary is great and if he retired no one could replace him.

I've thought about how similar Ligget's gaffs are much like Biden's. They are minor and can be distracting, but they don't suggest there's a serious problem with cognitive processes.

Let's note that everyone makes gaffs.

That's what you guys were saying about the last election, and now look what you are dealing with as a result.
Instead of being hateful and against something, try being for something.
We are for all sorts of things. The problem is that MAGA opposes any sort of progress. So it will look to supporters of bad ideas that Democrats are just "against everything".

From the NYT:

Biden Plans Campaign Events as Questions Arise Over Other Recent Interviews... The day of rest on Saturday came as it was revealed that the questions asked of Mr. Biden by two radio interviewers this week were provided in advance to the hosts by members of Mr. Biden’s team, according to one of the hosts.Andrea Lawful-Sanders, the host of “The Source” on WURD in Philadelphia, said Saturday morning on CNN that Biden officials had provided her with a list of eight questions ahead of the interview on Wednesday.“I got several questions — eight of them,” she told Victor Blackwell, the host of “First of All” on CNN. “And the four that were chosen were the ones that I approved

It's going from bad to worse ...
Just being realistic is common sense

Knowing (having seen on the news) Biden's state of mind, this is common sense if you don't want to make America look more foolish (Biden being the face representing the US) to the rest of the world, having chosen a "not capable" President to be the "Strong man" for the USA

A bike race commentator isn't exactly on par with president of the world's largest superpower.

Biden sent a letter to Dems this morning that stated he is NOT stepping down.

You mentioned the names of multiple democrats, but not one thing regarding what they stand for or what their policies would be.
Rather important things to consider. At least they used to be considered important.
I truly wish we could focus more on this. Sadly, considering the absolute crapshow the republican party is, the number one priority is preventing Trump from winning. If republicans weren't so far gone and had something of substance to offer, then we could focus more on actual policies. Like back when it was Obama vs. Romney, we could focus more on policies because at least Romney wasn't a threat to stage a rebellion or institute policies and people who would actually undermine and possibly take away our democracy.

No, Romney was a big threat because he drove with is dog in a cage on top of the car, and because he had "binders of women". Even the moderator of the debate (Candy Crawley, or whatever her name was) had to help Obama during the debate.

Being hateful against the MAGA movement is being for the American ethos.
It's amazing how liberals talk so much about how "love is love", and how we need to be tolerant of one another and embrace our differences, and yet they can find ways to try justifying their own hatred of those who don't even vote the way they would like. Not very democratic.
Why is it that liberals can't just vote for the candidate of their choice without hating the opposition and the voters of the opposition?

What's stronger about it?
The dollar?

Job and economic growth is stronger. The US economy is doing pretty darn well.

Respect around the world? Nope.

But, higher than Trump: Globally, Biden Receives Higher Ratings Than Trump.

Immigration policy? Nope.

Which party was it that voted down the most comprehensive immigration bill in order to maintain it as an election issue?

A president that can put a sentence together? Nope, nope, nope!

Last time we had that was Obama...

Until the numbers get adjusted each month.

It was poison-pilled by the democrats. It wasn't effective. Plus, biden has supposedly used executive action to implement it. Now it's proven to be ineffective.

Last time we had that was Obama...

Yeah, the guy who couldn't even speak from the heart without a teleprompter. Otherwise, he was making everything about race: "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon.", and "The cops acted stupidly!"

That is quite wrong. The strength of the dollar is an international measure. The US has done better with inflation than other countries. The US dollar is measurably stronger than it was during the Trump administration:

Respect around the world? Nope.

Are you kidding me? Trump was laughed at by other world leaders. You need to show support for this. By the way, it is the opinions of other counties that matter. Not the impression of Americans.
Immigration policy? Nope.

Biden at least tries to follow the laws, and in fact Trump opposed the immigration reforms that Biden and the Republicans had worked out. He could not stand to see Biden succeed so he forced his minions to change their mind. Our present border problems are due to the Republicans.
A president that can put a sentence together? Nope, nope, nope!
Oh please, Biden has one bad debate and you give us this BS. Trump's senility shows when he wanders off into off topic meandering. His mouth still works, but his brain is clearly not doing so. How many times have you heard his shark vs electrocution nonsense?

If Trump talked the way Biden did, you'd never stop pointing it out. What surprises me is that he's been that way all through his presidency--during press conferences, in interviews, giving speeches, etc. and there are many examples. Multiple montages of them can easily be found on Youtube for all to see. But suddenly, when it happened during that debate, the Press somehow had their eyes opened to it and realized that Biden's deterioration wasn't some Russian conspiracy theory after all.
I know liberals are slow to see reality, but come on man! It's been 3 and a half years!

So what? Biden actually does much much better than Trump. Anyone that is constantly in the public eye will make some errors, but those of Trumps are orders of magnitude more idiotic. You know that cannot be argued. And Trump has the unbeatable record of number of lies told by a President. And that was in just one term of office.

Because the opposition is worthy of hating in this case. I'll go back to Romney. He wasn't worth hating.

Until the numbers get adjusted each month.

That's normal. Are you expecting a change in the strong economic numbers the US has been experiencing?

Is that why we're now involved in multiple wars? There were none under Trump.

This is Biden's fault? Do you think Russia and Hamas would have acted differently with Trump in office?

Trump was by no means a peaceful president. His drone strikes in the Middle East were more extensive then Obama's and he removed a lot of the oversight for utilizing them:

We were still in Afghanistan where he dropped the "Mother of All Bombs":

He ramped up the US nuclear weapons arsenal:

It was poison-pilled by the democrats. It wasn't effective. Plus, biden has supposedly used executive action to implement it. Now it's proven to be ineffective.

Are you against executive actions? If so:

Biden, so far, has signed fewer executive orders than Trump - Poynter

Has it been proven to be ineffective? What has it been ineffective for?

Yeah, the guy who couldn't even speak from the heart without a teleprompter. Otherwise, he was making everything about race: "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon.", and "The cops acted stupidly!"

So then why is having a President struggling to publicly speak an issue for you when the alternative to Joe isn't any better and apparently Presidents capable of doing so have been in pretty short demand?

You stated that Liberals are hateful for conservatives while Trump supporters fly flags that are very hateful towards Liberals.

It might be good to consider that conservatives typically support removing rights and protections from various groups that have direct impact on folks left-leaning folks care about. Division is hard to mend with that dynamic.

Then you're fine with Biden remaining your hope of defeating Trump? Sounds good to me!
Run Joe run! See Joe run (and then collapse).
See ya at Trump's next inauguration! :D
