What would you think of someone believing that all of existence falls and rises with the death and birth of one particular individual in a never ending cycle? Would you support their beliefs, or would you think they should seek help?

Never heard that oneOn the Avatar comes again and again to true the path forward for all. Whether you consider that person Jesus, Muhammad, Moses, Krishna or Buddha, that's the standard for such a being.
Never here about it though. Is it a group or just random people?I think that person is by far not the only one who believes that.
Lot of people think a messiah complex is not to be taken lightly. Many people believe many things. Why should I have any thoughts about the person? I might however question his beliefs and want to know how he came up with such beliefs.

One eternal Christ across different religions. I like the sounds of thatOf course that is not orthodox Christianity. The Avatar and Jesus as one is present in India. Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, a devotee of Mother Kali, had an important experience of seeing Jesus. Yogananda was another who acknowledged Jesus: Meditation, Yoga, and Spiritual Questions Answered By Expert Yogis — Ananda and Meher Baba did as well.
The theological difference can be expressed as: There is one eternal Christ and Jesus was the only manifestation of the Christ. This compares to There is only one eternal Christ (Avatar in Hinduism) and Jesus was one manifestation of the Christ.
