The Concept of Final Canonization

James2028

I introduced the concept
of final canonization
in a debate thread with
minimum success.

Very few actually
considered the concept.

#1. none of the original autographs
were infallible theory

#2. only the original autographs
were infallible theory

#3 purified text theory

Seriously, there are no autographs.
The original only theorists have
imaginary original autographs,
just like the infinite university
theoretical physicists have an
imaginary infinite eternal universe.

There are thousands of dissertations demonstrating the apologetics
of scripture and the divinity
of Jesus Christ.

Historically and logically theology
is the master university science
and was central in the development
of higher education at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale and Princeton.

The science is academic theology,
the issue is final authority
and the concept is
the purified text theory.

Actually many people replied to your thread. It is titled 'Final Authority' but the first post is 'Sola Scriptura vs. Sola Ecclesia'

For a debate on this you probably should narrow your target group by posting in Same Faith Debates and adding "Protestants Only" or "Catholics Only" or something like that to the title.

In a non-debate section like this area nobody is going to reply, because you're asking a controversial question. Its against forum rules to start debates in a non debate area.

This is a discussion not a debate.
I'm interested in a discussion
about the implications of this
theological concept.

Not sure I'm understanding what you intend by 'autograph'. As for canonization the authors of the Gospels were attributed by the Church with the exception of John. As for the theology, the Evangelists who penned them were theologians in their own right. .
