The Cult of Simon

Does anyone know if there are any cults or branches of Christianity that specifically relate to Simon / Saint Peter?

I am interested in this as Simon was a key figure in my spiritual awakening. (particularly his emergence as fisherman to believer in the light).

Even though I am not a Christian I believe Simon to have saved me.

Is this possible?

Hi! No humans being should be worshipped. We are all just creation, not the Creator, who deserves all the glory. Regarding salvation- here what King David wrote:"Salvation belongs to Jehovah.Your blessing is upon your people." (Psalm 3:8)

You could start by searching his Saint-hood, and take it from there maybe?
I'm sure you'll dig up followings/orders/history.

Start looking into the traditions of San Simon or Maximon. He may be calling you, as he has several friends of mine. None of whom are Christian in any conventional sense.

interesting , San Simon seems to be a Guatamalan Pagan God of the underworld.

Simon wouldn't approve of it; there's no such thing as a demi-God in Judaism.

I was thinking more of Simon the Christian - perhaps a new branch where Simon is the number 2 in command. The right-hand man of Jesus.
I think this could be possible.

The word "Christian" was not in use when Simon Peter was alive. He always considered himself a Jew.
