This is a favorite topic of mine, as I have been very close to the devil in my early day's and have studied his personality to a level in which, the devil himself has patted me on my shoulder for being to comrehend as to what the real war is all about. I will not go into the details as to how and why and where the devil has come from, because that will no doubt lead us all into another battle of the minds.

All I would like to say that first of all he has indeed created the biggest deception for all of us, and that is to beleive that he does not exist, in this way he has been able to cleverly manipulate the basic foundations of human cultures and has indeed made it all fall to a precipice of self-destrution. He is a Jinn and he has a tribe, and no doubt he is an awowed enemy of all of mankind, for the simple reason he thinks that he is more superior to us, and he is arrogant and he is indeed violent in his love for His CREATOR. He was kicked out of heaven for his disobediance, but he was given the power of respite till the day of judgement to ensure that he would attack man from all forefronts and show to God that he was correct in his decision not to bow down to Adam.
And has centuries passed by he continued in his plight to ensure that mankind would follow the wrong path, The devil or I like to refer to him as iblees has very clevelry stolen all the contents of heaven and created a heaven for us on this world, no doubt he has cleverly made the life of the world seem like our final destination, and that we transgress in sin so that in the end when our book of deeds are opened we will all come to know as to what we have done, and he knows by that time it will be too late for repentance. Those amongst mankind who do not beleive in my opinion should constantly reflect at the surroundings which envelops them, and logically say to themselves that are we all living in a world in which there is peace and harmony? Mnakind also thinks too highly of himself, and he thinks that the zones of the heavens is merely a delusion, he continues to hask for proof, even if a piece of heaven would be sent down he would say heaps of clouds, for mankind is truly ingrate and he is a quarellsome crerature.

Know and study the reality of Iblees for it is they and their tribe who watch us all fromm places we cannot see, and it is they who wish that we are all sent to the blazing fire to burn till eternity.

Because this part tells me a few things..
First of all, the power you speak of, was given by the creator. A power appareantly to attack us on all sides. Are we just toys to the creator? For him to give somebody this power.. And appareantly do nothing about the devil using that power.
Also, we are talking about the creator here, can he or she not just let the devil know whether his decision was right or wrong? Is he that powerless that he has to give up mankind for a test?

There are metaphysical systems that want to explain the universe and existence itself, and religious belief is just one such example among many. Now while there is nothing true or false corresponding to these mystical beliefs they do however have to make sense, and with due respect to what you want to believe I’m afraid the paragraph above makes no sense at all. Notice that God, an all-sufficient deity of insuperable power, is dependent upon his own creation, and caused the Devil to exist so that he (God) may justify his actions to mankind! Nobody, nobody disputes the existence of strife and disharmony that we see all around us. But if evil has no necessary existence, which it doesn’t, unless you want to say God had to create or allow evil, which would be a contradiction if God if the greatest possible power. Therefore the Devil serves no purpose other than as a fabricated entity that is used to justify the evil that exists in the world.

I would say certain members of mankind do indeed think too highly of themselves, in believing they are entitled to another life after this one, and that there is a deity, a Supreme Being that needs a relationship with its creation.

Let me state clearly that I view Lucifer as a fictional God. I am commenting on the meaning of his story in Christian Mythology. There is clearly a certain attraction to Lucifer, bordering on admiration. Lucifer was supposed to be a very intelligent fellow. He presumably knew that he could not defeat the powerful but evil Cosmic Tyrant (God.) He knew he would suffer for rebelling. But he rebelled nonetheless out of principle. He knew it was a lost cause, presuming that he could read the future and take the Bible seriously. Lucifer showed courage, principle, and pride (a good virtue in my opinion). He became secretly admired by Jews and Christians who would never admit it. He didn’t destroy cities, drown the World, or send plagues. That was God’s work. Lucifer fought for the right to dissent, rebel, and no bend one’s knee to the Tyrant. We owe him much for the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and the Knowledge Revolution of the 20’s Century.

We all admire the tragic hero of the lost cause. We recognise William the Conqueror for his victory and cruelty. But many think of Harold of the Saxons as the tragic hero, fighting and dying in a lost cause. He had just fought the Scandinavians in the North of England. He and his army were exhausted. His famous foot soldiers were a walking wounded infantry. Yet, he didn’t give up. King Harold and his Saxon heroes stood their ground against William’s armoured Knights. Despite the odds he came close to winning. But the odds were too great. Harold died sword in hand, on the Field of Hastings in 1066. He perished fighting for his fallen Kingdom. And he is more of a hero than the cruel, Duke William of Normandy. William won the battle and England.

Arthur Pendragon was a Romano-Briton (possibly Scythian) hero for the Britons in a lost cause. He refused to overlook the abusive way the newly growing Christian movement was savagely abusing the remaining Pagan Britons. He was willing to fight the Christian Church, slaughtering some priests who were torturing Druid captives. He relied on a Druidic advisor, Merlin, and not a Christian bishop. But he tolerated the Christians if they did not abuse the people.

My favourite is Constantine XII Palaiologos the last emperor of Byzantium (the old Eastern Roman Empire). He was a brave soldier who had fought the invading Turks for all of his young life. In 1453 after a long siege hundreds of thousands of Turks stormed the crumbling walls of Constantinople to slaughter a few thousand defenders. Constantine was seen sword in hand by the Turks. He died fighting about 6 Turks. He was bleeding and wounded but would not surrender. He fought so bravely even the Turks honoured him.

Lucifer is the mythological tragic hero like Harold, Arthur, Boadica, Zenobia of Palmyra, and Constantine XI Palaiologos fighting bravely against powerful aggressors. He had courage, and principle. Lucifer also fought a battle he knew he would lose. That is the basis of Satanism. They don't worship Satan/Lucifer as a being but the symbol of a tragic hero in a lost cause of defending the “underdog.” He fought in defence of the abused human race, against a cruel vengeful Tyrant God and God’s army of supernatural killer angels. The Satanist's message to us is that humans need to work to improve their lives, help one another, not to be ashamed of being happy or proud. His symbol is the liberation of people from a darkly evil Theology. He is the symbol of humans standing up straight, and rejecting a religion of Bible imposed misery, destructive self- hatred, and living in constant FEAR of a Cosmic Tyrant who salivates at the thought of sending them to Hell to burn for eternity. Lucifer isn’t real as a being. But he is real as a metaphor for liberation from the negativity of Stone Age mythology. He is the metaphor for our freedom of thought, our improving the real world without fear of an imaginary world, and our freedom to pursue happiness without feeling guilty for it

Neither a god nor a devil exists. But if you had done research on the devil you'd know his entire character has grown and transformed from an employe of god's to the leader of some firey lake.
