Perhaps that is insight and self-criticism. I think there is far to much truth to it to to dismiss this as merely silly. Ironically, it was nuclear physicists who brought the evil of the nuclear threat upon us. But perhaps the nuclear threat protects the states that have nukes from "conventional" wars.
