Why would a political loss in one state primary be worthy such national news? Joseph Kennedy III lost a challenge for the senate seat of a fellow democrat who held the seat for over 40 years, marking the first time a Kennedy has lost an election in Massachusetts.
"The Kennedy dynasty is dead and the Green New Deal is alive." Marky may be well in his seventies, but young and progressive in his politics.

BTW, kudos to @pcarl for recognizing that the Massachusetts outcome is worthy of note (and for forcing some of us to learn how to spell "Massachusetts").

If there ever was a Kennedy dynasty, it died a long time ago.

Frankly, I think that there's been a growing attitude on both sides of the aisle that people want change, thus a pox on both parties. I believe this is what got Trump chosen in the Pub Party and why Bernie had a lead for a while in the Dem Party prior to Clyburn's endorsement of Joe. And because Joe is "old news", this may come to haunt the Dems in November.

Massachusetts originated from the language of the Algonquian nation.

Massachusetts is the 44th largest state by area. That means they're a small state, a dinky state - smaller than some counties in the western U.S.

The capital of Massachusetts is Boston, where they have dirty water. But I've heard that they love that dirty water.
