Hello! It's me, an egalitarian who totally supports equality for all.
I don't hate the word feminist, but I do have lots of 'F' words which I think of in connection with it. I'd like to propose some of these in a few posts....... ok?

I watched the first film. She waffled at high speed and seemed scatterbrained. So this brings to mind my first F word, which is 'FACILE'.

This seems to be a personal aesthetic on your part, and not a critique on the movement itself.

This para shows how many Fems are directionless. You argue around your movement or how folks see you whilst leaving the pushes for solid changes to others. Apart from moaning about minor gender-imbalances, maybe a fast-food chain that offers gender prejudiced toys.. or whatever, you do not address the real nasty imbalances directly. So my next F word that springs to mind is FECKLESS

Question: what do you see as the "real nasty imbalances" that feminists don't address?

And I contend you don't see the actions of those who do have their feet on the ground which is probably why you see a bunch of people on the internet whining. Meh...it's not like we haven't heard this before. Speaking up elicits a response such as this from people who rather would like for us to shut up. :D

I don't hate your label, I just see you as overtaken by major influences such as Egalitarianism which is gaining ground and leaving you in the distance. So my next F word in connection with Feminism is 'FRIVOLOUS'

Gaining ground? How? What do egalitarians do as activists that leave feminists in the dust? What politician activity or work in shelters do egalitarians do? I'm curious.

There are so many F words that spring to mind that it would take many many posts to introduce them all.

Oh that's quite all right. Just keep looking at your thesaurus for words that wish to show a disdain without any substance to back up your claims.

Who's feckless and frivolous and fraudulent now?

I can't stand her. I never could. If she wasn't such a b-word and stuck up, maybe I'd be nicer. But I'm not going to pretend to be polite about someone I don't like.
To express your loathing with language comparable to (or worse than) her offense
sort'a defeats your purpose. Should she be hated cuz she's old or short on vaginal fluids?
Some day, when you're "old" (if you're lucky), you won't see that as an insulting trait.

Anyway, she's a professional insult comic (like Don Rickles). Best leave that to the pros.

As an aside, I notice Joan Rivers gets a hell of a lot more flack than Don Rickles. For her appearance mostly.

It's her body.

Oh don't let me get my thesaurus out...... that would really launch many more.....
Substance? I showed substance. Some of it sad, some shocking.

You need to address the points. I won't repeat 'em.
But I did make a mistake with my last F word. It should never have been 'FORBIDDEN'... it should have been 'FORSAKEN'.
And so for me, Feminism is on FULL-STOP.

Could we agree that we don't want feminism to go away....we be just talking about it?

Revolting..... The Femmies took themselves away when they formed a Femmie-only section and chucked an Eggie (BH) off it.
I understand the fun that can be had with easy-banter (that's Kentistanian for b-ggering about) but it wasn't fun, and they didn't reciprocate it anyway.

I'm speaking of the philosophy & advocacy of feminism in general, rather
than personal dramas on RF. Let's give'm some hugs where we agree, eh?

Just like everybody else needs a spot just to breathe, discuss, and find camaraderie without distraction, feminists are just as human. The DIR is great for that.

We debate in the open forums too.

I see the angry humorless feminist trope continues without evidence or substance. I could giggle, but one might think I was pointing and laughing at something that isn't as big as is talked about. Oh dear.

I know that you are, in fact, when all the shouting and rock chucking is done, you yourself are probably very strong on gender equality of opportunity and gender balance. But I've seen your picture, Revolting, so if you wanna hug, go get 4consideration...... you'd get much more out of it... honest! :D

I tell you.... I am so proud of our women, here.... so proud of what's beginning to happen. I place all of my hopes for a less corrupt Britain on the escalation of the females, and I pray that they will mostly have the integrity and values to ignore the corruption that so many of our (mostly male) leaders have been tempted by up till now. I'm that strong on Gender balance, and that dependant on our females.

And when I find similar mindset, you bet I can touch heads, hug, shake hands and shed tears...... you bet.

Why fraudulent?

Hi......
OK..... I used the word fraudulent because I felt (feel) that feminism often tries to grasp the laurels due to humanity, egalitarianism, common sense, good reason, etc.
In the case that you question the Church of England Synod, after intense debate, much deliberation, heavy heart searching....... voted to ordain female bishops. That's tough decision and it will have broken hearts, challenged faiths and also brought much joy. So a cheap 'Feminism strikes a blow' just struck me as fraudulent. I could have dome better if I could have thought of a word (beginning in F) for shallow..... and I never did use a thesaurus like some suggested... :)

That's why... :)

OK....... look..... I have posted once (or twice?) in the men's issues green, but believe me when I tell you tghat I queried why on Earth there would be a Mens issues green, and queried why any would use it. A totally stupid idea. I will never respind in it again.... haven't for yonks.

Whilst understanding the purples for religions and faiths, I never understood the Fem Purple and you know I never went near it.

Now, again....... I need you to address my points. At this time I sincerely believe that Feminist threads on this site are extremely shallow, given the horrendous situations that are avoided or ignored. Don't you dare ask for examples after my recent posts! :(

When those issues are discussed we could reach for more serious stuff.....
