The Failed Messiah Crusades

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
If you think anyone is capable of a selfless act, you are gravely mistaken.

"The ego is the center of consciousness, whereas the Self is the center of the total personality, which includes consciousness, the unconscious, and the ego. The Self is both the whole and the center. While the ego is a self-contained little circle off the center contained within the whole, the Self can be understood as the greater circle"

You can of course believe whatever you want, the facts remain as I stated in my article. The entire messianic concept and the dying/resurrection idea came long before Yeshua. They are tools of the Abrahamic faiths.
All the major world religions are expecting a Messiah, a world redeemer, who will come in the End Times. Certain religious believers such as the Jews and Christians believe that this Messiah will meet their expectations and restore their religion to its former glory, and He will even vindicate their religion as being the one true religion. Obviously it is impossible that all the religions are right about what this Messiah will be like and what he will do, because these religions all have different expectations of this Messiah.

Bible prophecies can be interpreted in many different ways, so they can have many meanings, so they can be made to mean what people want them to mean so that Messiah will be what they want Him to be.

Below are two websites that cover the prophecies of the major religions and what they believe the Messiah will be.

“In this page a links to other pages concentrating on prophecies contained in some of the major Religious and Spiritual traditions of the World. Also I have included some predictions of Nostradamus and there is an article on 2012 which is the special date when the Mayan calendar comes to an end. In each section I give some background to the prophecies from the respective World Religions and also discuss some of their social and political implications.”

Prophecies from World Religion and other sources

“Each of the world's major religions contains Messianic prophecies.

Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, the Zoroastrian religion and even the Native American religions all foretell the coming of a Promised One. Each of the Founders of these great religions either promised to personally return himself, to send another like himself or in some instances.... the Founder promised to do both.

Christians await the return of Christ and the coming of "another comforter." The Jewish scriptures foretell the coming of "another Prophet" like Moses and the return of Elijah from heaven. Many Moslems await the appearance of Mahdi and Meseeh. Krishna promised to personally return from age to age. Buddha said that he was not the first Buddha ever to appear and that another "supremely enlightened" Buddha was still yet to come. Zoroastrian prophecies foretell the coming of a "world-renovator." Native American prophecies foretell the coming of a great teacher from the east who will bring teachings which will restore the hoop of unity.

Each religion, in its own way, has foretold the coming of a great religion restoring, world uniting, peace bringing Messiah.””

What evidence is there that Baháʼu'lláh was a messiah? What prophecies did he fulfill?
Baha'u'llah fulfilled all the prophecies for the return of Christ and the messianic prophecies are in the process of being fulfilled and will be fulfilled during the messianic age which will last no less than 1000 years from 1852 AD.

The Bible prophecies fulfilled by Baha'u'llah are depicted in the book Thief in the Night by William Sears and some of these prophecies and how they were fulfilled are depicted in this 10 minute video.

Doesn't sound too cheerful to me. Sounds very bitter. Cheerful people don't attack the beliefs of others during a major holy day of their religion.
That's pretty rich given that Christianity appropriated every Pagan holiday with its own in the attempt to usurp those religions.

I think not. There are no messiahs on the Left Hand Path.
I really can't comment much on your faith, as it is too new and I haven't studied it enough.

What Pagans do that? LOL . . . wait, Christian Pagans?
This is Pagan?

"God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay
For Jesus Christ, our Savior was born on Christmas Day
To save us all from Satan's powers when we were gone astray
Glad tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Glad tidings of comfort and joy

In Bethlehem, in Israel this blessed Babe was born
And laid within a manger upon this blessed morn
The which His Mother Mary did nothing take in scorn
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy

From God our Heavenly Father a blessed angel came
And unto certain shepherds brought tidings of the same
How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy

"Fear not then, said the angel, let nothing you affright
This day is born a Savior of a pure virgin bright
To free all those who trust in Him from Satan's power and might"
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy

Now to the Lord sing praises, all you within this place
And with true love and brotherhood each other now embrace
This holy tide of Christmas all other doth deface

Oh, tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh, tidings of comfort and joy"

What Pagan believes all that? Pagans don't believe in Satan, remember.

I can tell you this, any religious faith that does not accept homosexuality, transgenderism, and oppresses women cannot possibly be THE religion.

Is it?
What about when we are in the middle of the practice and still have not realized the full truth? That means one holds part of the truth but isn't so ignorant toward the truth that one can not see it.
Levels of understanding
When I said that people either have correct understandings or they believe what they want to believe I meant that very generally. Not all people are like that, but some people believe only what they want to believe and they are unwilling to consider any other possibilities.
