Why do many believe that only the bad guys will be judged at the Great White?
Not sure many do in Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, etc...

Most people who have read the texts, know it says the whole reality is judged; just most religious seem to think they have a 'get out of jail free' clause...

Tho if we truly study what the text says, and not listen to the opinions of the scholars, and religious leaders; then the merit is all placed on the individuals shoulders, and there are not get out clauses.

In my opinion. :innocent:

But if a person is ignorant of the text true meaning they're just as worse off if not more.....You're asking someone who is ignorant of a quadratic formula, not listen to an algebra teacher and simply do the formula and come up with their own answers.

It doesn't work like that....We need teachers to help us to gain an understanding of what is being read.

Love the metaphor; yet this was the job of the prophets, to take a message of Oneness, which is a complex subject, and condense that into a language.

Within each message there is a partial bias and slant to it, which is part of each different prophet's character, having a slight different expression on knowing the subject.

What has come from scholars is like turning nursery rhymes into complex algebra; they've also got lots of the mathematics wrong, as they don't actually know what they're talking about.
We need teachers to help us to gain an understanding of what is being read.
We need teachers to teach us to educate ourselves... Plus with mathematics was a great example, as they should teach us how to think rationally, and to be logically consistent.

Listening to an opinion is fine; yet knowing the subject of Oneness by heart, is what is required for being worthy of Heaven.

In my opinion. :innocent:

No I believe the bride of Christ is not judged at the great white throne. I think she was already judged beforehand. So I think the great white throne is the final judgment when 2nd resurrection happens.

Revelation 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb’s bride.” (10) He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

So the Bride is the Saints who've been elected, the holy city, and reality going back to its infinite state again, whilst removing those who are unworthy.

Revelation 6:9-11 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had. (10) They cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” (11) A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.

MATTHEW 19 [16]And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? [17] And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [18] He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, [19] Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The works these people will be judged by is that portion of the ten commandments that pertain to your interaction with man. Jesus tells us that, so you can take it to the bank. The man asked Jesus how he should attain eternal life. Jesus did not mention even one of the ten commandments that deal with your interaction with God. Had Jesus been asked, how shall I be saved to the kingdom, would Jesus have given a totally different answer?
