The Greek Bible Outdated or Needed Today?

The Bible given to the west by Roman Catholics, is a Greek translation. The Pe****ta is Aramaic, translated by George M Lamsa, a Semite, who lived and spoke the language. Knew the culture, idiums, and metaphors written.

Should the Greek translated Bible be secondary to the Aramaic translated Bible?

Your thoughts.

The Catholics actually supported more of a Latin version.

The Greek is the best as it is the original. So no, it shouldn't be secondary to the Aramaic translation. The Aramaic version is a translation. The Greek is the original.

"Gospel to the Hebrews" which the Church Fathers nearly all agreed was the original version of Matthew, was said to be written in Aramaic. John was likely written in Greek, Mark was said to be written by Peter's scribe, and may be a translation of his original.

I think whatever is closest to the original text should be used, but I'm not Christian though, so my opinion doesn't matter.

Of course your opinion matters.

This whole forum is based on opinions that one agrees with and rejects opinions that arent agreed with.
