'The Hebrew Goddess' by Raphael Patai

I have a copy of 'The Hebrew Goddess' by Raphael Patai and I wanted to get other peoples thoughts on it. I haven't read it all yet, I've barely started it, as there are some other ones I want to get through first, but, I've had a flick through, and some of it seems quite interesting. I've seen it recommended a lot, by Jews, and others as well. I just wanted to ask, is it a good source for understanding the Divine Feminine/Feminine Element of Divinity as it evolved throughout Jewish history, or do you have criticisms of Patai's works?.

I definitely am interested in learning about the Divine Feminine within Judaism/Jewish history (as well as other religions too), and how people have related to it, or Her.

Anyway, thanks for any help.

David.
