I don't understand what is your point if any.
There is a rule for doubling a number and which is multiplying by 2.

So when we make a calculator we have to use those rules to get the correct answers otherwise we will get rubbish answers without fixing the laws and the rules before inventing the calculator.

My point is that the laws don't change. If you take two and add anther two, it will always be four, and no divine intervention is necessary to ensure that is the case.

I don't anthropomorphise the universe - it is not sentient in my opinion, it simply unfolds due to the basic, unchanging parameters of physics and chemistry. Further agency is not required, so I don't believe in it.

How science explains according to natural selection the amazing ability of the homing pigeon to return home from extremely long distances ?

Scientist think that the homing pigeon may trace the exact location by using a magnetic compass because there is no other reasonable explanation and even if it is in relation to the earth's magnetic field still no clue on how it works.

I do not remember if it was NOVA or Nature, but I saw a feed the other day regarding this. A scientist had 3 groups of pigions. In one he disconnected the sense of smell. In the second he disconnected the electomagnetic senses. And the third was a control group. Half of each group was released in one of two locations. The control group and the group deprived of eletormagnetic senses made it home. The group with disconnected smell did not.

Well actually, hydrogen and lithium atoms as well as a large percentage of helium atoms are the oldest. All of the heavier atoms were made later in stars.

I rephrase. The "matter" that makes up those atoms are not any older or younger. The state in which they are (1e1p vs 2e2p or 53e35p14n) doesnt' matter.
