The Illuminati

Personally I make a distinction between a conspiracy and a plot

As I said before, I doubt there is a conspiracy - I would avoid that term due to its association with "conspiracy theory"

But there is totally a plot going on
Since conspiracy and plot are the same word in my language... I am lost...really. ;)

I don't believe in conspiracy theories but it is evident that there is a class of elites who co-operate so as to effectively control world affairs
Within very limited parameters, that is.

And rather tentatively at that.

I am a big believer in there being a kind of deep state
Well, that definitely exists. It's basically the intelligence apparatus (what are called "spooks") and powerful special interest groups and individuals who tend not to be household names. You can look at highly secretive elite functions like the Bilderberg Group and super-powerful entities like Blackrock as examples.

Blackrock is a major player. They practically own damned near everything.

I hear that the illuminati decide who will be President is that true? I had heard from others here the Illuminati isn't real. Is it real?
Oh, is it the illuminati? I thought it was the Jews. Or maybe the Masons. Or the Lizard people. I lose track.

On a more serious note...The Illuminati really did exist a long time ago. They were an enlightenment era secret society in Bavaria. But they died out a long time ago. Despite the insistence of some people, there are no illuminati today.

The election will be decided by the electoral college, which assigns the choices of its delegates based on the election. Who people vote for is influenced by a great many factors. But there is no secret society of any name (or nameless) that manipulates the election.

Well a guy who spoke to Michael Warnke who was a paster, Michael was a paster and speaker in the 1980s who claimed to be an ex devil worshipper and made it up .

He was the paster and said he did not believe he was an ex evil worshipper;; he said he did not believe Michael was telling the truth about that because when he asked him to explain what the illuminati was;

he said he had never heard of it. The Paster said he'd never heard of an ex Satanist who did not know what the illuminati was.

So I assume he thought the illuminati was connected to satanism.
There is no credible historical evidence linking the Illuminati to Satanism. The organization was founded in 1776, and was a secret society that aimed to promote Enlightenment values such as reason, secularism, and the separation of church and state. Their goals focused on challenging traditional authority, especially that of the Catholic Church and monarchy. The Illuminati disbanded in the 1780s due to governmental pressure. To be very honest, they don't seem like bad guys to me at all.

All this stuff about the Illuminati being Satanic is nothing more than people's overactive imaginations and paranoia. For someone to say "Joe over there couldn't really have been a satanist because he doesn't know about the illuminati" is just ridiculous.

Speaking of illuminati (the enlightened ones) enlighten me:
what does Novus Ordo Seclorum annuit coeptis means?

;)
It has absolutely nothing to do with the Illuminati.

The mottos Novus Ordo Seclorum (New Order of the Ages) and annuit coeptis (He [Providence] has favored our undertakings) were submitted by Charles Thomson, the secretary of the Congress of the Confederation. He took Novus Ordo Seclorum from a poem by Virgil. He wrote that the phrase signified "the beginning of the New American Era" Nothing at all nefarious.

Thomson presented these mottos for the Seal in 1782. If I'm not mistaken, the Illuminati (which were in Bavaria) disbanded in 1780. There is zero evidence that Thomson had been involved with that group, nor is there any evidence that the Illuminati used either of those mottos. He WAS a Freemason, which is an entirely different organization, also not nefarious.
