Oh. OK, now there's a picture. Varied and multiple images of the one.Is this one? or many?
so there isn't one picture with many shades? or one team with many members? one person with many clothes? one forest, or copse, with many trees? one field with many plants? one garden with many furrows?
and if we make it all one shade does the one picture cease to exist? if we make all the forms collapse back into one energy form does it cease to exist?

It depends on what you are trying to identify and how you chose to construct that identity.
You'd need to define the construct for the rest of us. Otherwise we can independently define our own construct and come up with whatever answer suits us which probably wouldn't make any sense to the rest.
Is there separateness between the concepts of one and many??

For the purposes of meting out our existence in this reality, we recognize a particular grouping of matter and energy as a horse. Another grouping of matter and energy as a man. More matter and energy as grass/trees/clothing/dirt/air/etc./etc./etc.... and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I guess I was wrong. I went to this thread on my tablet, put it next to my laptop, and then there were two pictures. Then I went and got my phone, sat down in front of the laptop and tablet, went to this thread, and then there were three.
So I'm changing my answer to many.
many as one? many downloads, one image?
they wear many masks? sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, supervisor, team lead, moderator, user.........
