I didn't know they had breakfast in China!
Apparently, because he hasn't been able to get to sleep and he wants me to drive him into town this morning despite the coating of ice on everything, my stepson is cooking up bacon and eggs for breakfast...that's a win!

But in may parts they have a torture ritual involving yo tiao & xi fan.
Mao Xadong is almost as cruel to breakfast as an egg mcmuffin.
Yo tiao are the crueler cruller because they're deep fried bland without any sugary goodness.
Why leave them untranslated when they are obviously Oliver Twists?
People really do order egg McMuffins at Dunkin Donuts.
It can happen, but they are not permitted to call them egg mcmuffins without proper licensing. It is some sort of trademark issue.
