The Wizard of Oz was not much of hero, really, although in the later books he did come to have some real powers...certainly, in the 1938 movie, he was, by his own admission, a "humbug wizard."
The recent movies are not based on, nor true to, the original book series. Heck, even the Judy Garland version had the flavor but wasn't really true to the book series.
I'd say you're much more the Lion, or the Tin Woodman, or the Scarecrow...Heroes, all...
Win for saving a mourning dove from Outdoor Kitty. Don't know if it will survive, but aside from bleeding a little and losing a few feathers, after spending 45 minutes in a bird cage to get back to its senses, it seemed to be alert and able to use both legs and both wings...
