Winning with not making the crude joke that came to mind from reading @beenherebeforeagain 's post.
Someone asked me to do something they thought was a simple request. It was not. After fussing and fuming, I now have skype set up (the default Windows 10 version won't work) and can look up a sound board to the computer and record sound. Now the hard work begins.

having to do that much work on a Friday evening doesn't sound winning to me...although, getting it to work does count toward a future win of completing the tasks...
This is not work - this is a retirement volunteer job that I do for the, well, not glory, but for a certain sense of satisfaction and to keep my brain from seizing up prematurely.
Ah...well, mine has already done that, so far forcing an early retirement...this and a few other projects are what's keeping what's left of my brain sharp...
