To "poof" is to delete (either post or thread).
I did not see anything worthy of that treatment. Either my sensibilities were less offended than others or I missed something. But guessing, maybe it was the thread about finding humor in what is arguably serious.
The thread was about how racism can be humorous.
I dare say no more.
A bacon and haggis eating Scotsman who is having a love affair with Nessie is, however, a fit topic for disparagement.
If you have any trouble starting that thread, I'm sure the mods will be happy to help.
