Our state is on fire, but I'd rather be there than Klandiana. And I win tomorrow by starting to head home, win more on Saturday by getting back home to my smoggy air and super post-Christian land. Not much soul food to be had, but the Mexican and everybody else's food makes up for it. Not really. But while my belly weeps for the lack of soul food my heart sighs a sigh of relief.
