There's too many trying to stirr up trouble betwen the Cat Party and the Dog Party. The Cat Party olatform includes jumping on a human's belly at 5am, keeding her and purring but if that does not work then a whack on the nose with a paw is needed. The Dog Party believes in a slobbery kiss with a wagging tail is the correct path. But both parties have the same goal - immediate delivery of high quality foods.

You know what I am talking about then. Though I am jesting a little. Arkansas has many fine qualities and people. Just not the most intellectually enlightened as a whole. But still scoring higher than parts of...

...Louisiana?

That's where my grandfather came from.

An old Navy buddy of my fathers was a Cajun from Baton Rouge. I remember going there to visit when I was small. It was great fun for me then. As an adult, I am aware that the state doesn't hold the same fascination as it did then for me and for many others. I have heard various descriptions, most of which I cannot repeat here.

You would think so, but the dang place is still a mile high and has a population that is about 2,000,009 greater
That's a lot of potential picnic baskets.

Hey, we have a black bear roaming around a neighboring town here just outside St. Louis. Not anybody you know is it?
