A couple of years ago i was taking veg peelings to the compost bin. Lifted the lid and the compost moved. A viper poped its head out to see what was happening. I don't think I've ever moved so fast.

Sometimes one of the cats will being a snake in, drop it at my feet as if to say " look, what i found". Usually a grass snake but sometimes something a bit more scary, either an asp or meadow viper.

Winning by starting to post something in another thread.... and then deleting it and moving on.... just did not want to get into the mess that could possibly create.... that and it was a political thread.... and even though my post would not have been political..... but it would open the door for others to make it so..... so I didn't post...... I abhor political threads....

In October we had a blocked toilet, our usual plumber had retired 2 months earlier so we found one to come and unblock it. He was Scottish, in his mid 30s so definitely not @Revoltingest.
