I've actually found the exact same set in the exact same patterns for twenty-ish bucks as a pack of six on Amazon.

He says he'll buy them, but he doesn't.

I think there's some illogical piece of him that thinks if he just holds out, someone will open a K-Mart in the Midwest again...
Sounds like a Christmas Present to me...

I hope things with Ares have become a dull roar. That would be a win for you.
Its been a few days since he's attacked.

Last weekend I had to call the police, though. There is a crisis house that I was told would take him if he was behaving dangerously. They, apparently, need a heap of referrals. Hard to get at 1am. So, I called the police. They were confused on what to do, but were kind, and did help. They admitted there's no resources at all for that kind of stuff in this area. They liked Stupid(the cat who came out to greet them).

There was a slight med adjust made. The bedtime attacks got weaker, then disappeared. For now.

Given your situation are you going to try to get that "heap" of referrals?

I've started the process.

The tricky thing is catching him in crisis mode.

If he's in his right mind, no need to send him.

I need to know who to call when it happens again(I'm not optimistic enough to say if). But, his therapist is working on it.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

This reminds me so much of my brother, who is schizophrenic and bipolar. I remember one time calling the police, AFTER he threatened me and I called the police who sent him home with his wife, and they told me "Well, it's not against the law to be crazy. Your brother has to be actively threatening your safety or his own." What?

He ended up being confined to a mental institution for many years. He also had not filed any taxes for YEARS, though he and his wife made plenty of money. So he owed the IRS a lot of Denero and now he is on disability (though he can work, he doesn't want to so there's that aspect) and this was AFTER the trial and all that brouhaha, and after the years in a mental institution. Man, maybe I should do that now that I think of it...
